From 21 to 27 September 2026, more than 1,000 bars across Southeast Asia and Taiwan celebrate the timeless bond between Campari and the iconic cocktail, with guest shifts, local twists and Negronis you won’t find anywhere else.
SINGAPORE, Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Campari, Italy’s iconic red apéritif, and Imbibe Magazine return for the 14th edition of Negroni Week, running from 21 to 27 September 2026. Across Southeast Asia and Taiwan, more than 1,000 bars, pubs and restaurants in seven markets — Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan Region, Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore — will raise a glass to the world’s #1 best-selling classic cocktail, with celebrations, Negroni riffs and promotions running well beyond the week in many venues. Campari has brought the region’s best and brightest in one circuit, celebrating the power of storytelling through creative mixology.
Campari gathers the best of bar culture, music and nightlife across the region’s most vibrant cities in a week-long celebration of Italian hospitality and craft. The week’s opening parties kick off the festivities on 21 September across several markets.
Campari gathers the best of bar culture, music and nightlife across the region’s most vibrant cities in a week-long celebration of Italian hospitality and craft, opening on 21 September across several markets. In Bangkok, Monica Berg and Alex Kratena of Tayēr + Elementary London, No. 5 in World’s 50 Best Bars 2025, helm Stella at Capella on 21 and 22 September, following a masterclass. In Singapore, Demitria Dana Paramita, co-founder of Jakarta’s Hats Bar, No. 77 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026 and recipient of the Campari One To Watch award, takes the guest shift at Milli Lounge inside the National Gallery. Manila’s opening party at The Back Room, Shangri-La, pairs the team from Penicillin, Hong Kong, No. 49 on the same list, with Kiki Moka of Jakarta’s The Cocktail Club. Taipei opens at Uncommon with bartenders, media and tastemakers, and Taiwan sends the week off in Kaohsiung at ROMA ROMA, in full retro Italian glamour.
Across the week, Campari’s guest shift circuit brings 12 of the world’s most acclaimed bartenders to close to 20 shifts across a dozen cities, giving cocktail-lovers a taste of international creations without getting on a plane. Joining Monica Berg and Alex Kratena from the UK are Giorgio Bargiani of The Connaught Bar and Erik Lorincz of Kwānt London, who continues from Bangkok to Ho Chi Minh City. Asia’s own talent takes centre stage too: Hiro of Bee’s Knees and Cris Song of Pony Up Shanghai, Campari Red Hands APAC Champion 2025, both head to Ho Chi Minh City; Matteo Cadeddu of Opium Bangkok pours in Hong Kong and Ho Chi Minh City; and Joash of Off Track Singapore travels to Shanghai and Macau. Between Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur, two bars trade places entirely: Paramita continues from Singapore to Cabinet 8 by JWC, a new entry at No. 65 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026, on 23 September, while Sam Yap completes the exchange at Hats Bar, Jakarta, on 24 September.
With Campari at its heart, the region’s bartenders, artists and bar teams have taken the #1 best-selling classic in the world’s best bars and made it their own, extending the Negroni experience beyond the glass through art, merch, music and bar-hopping experiences designed to move people from one bar to the next. In Thailand, a first-time collaboration with Thai artist Karoon Jeamviriyasatean, known as ZilluStation, turns four bar-hopping routes through Songwat, Sathorn, Soi Nana and Chiang Mai into hand-drawn cityscape maps, printed as a limited-edition T-shirt collection with all proceeds going to charity. Taiwan makes the whole region the route: a Negroni Passport launched in Taipei and closed out in Kaohsiung, where one Negroni earns one stamp, and stamps become pins, glassware, branded tees and a grand prize drawn live on the final night. Vietnam’s passport rewards go further: collect enough stamps and earn access to the guest shift at Lai La, Ho Chi Minh City, on 25 September, where a red door, a neon sign glowing No Negroni Without Campari and a DJ carry the night long past midnight. In Manila, the Red Shift puts six bartenders in motion across six neighbouring bars at once, two drinks apiece, the whole neighbourhood pouring at the same time.
Armando De Paolis, Managing Director, Asia Partnership Markets at Campari Group, commented: “Every Negroni starts with Campari. What happens next is what makes it extraordinary. Negroni Week is no longer just a celebration of an iconic cocktail. It is a celebration of the people who continue to shape its story: from bartenders and mixologists pushing creativity behind their creations, to bars, restaurants and consumers who embrace the ritual and make it their own. Together, they form a community that keeps reinventing the cocktail while staying true to its unmistakable red heart: Campari. That is what makes Negroni Week so special. A global toast to an iconic cocktail, the people who bring it to life, and the connections it creates around the world.”

ABOUT THE NEGRONI
It was around the year 1919 in Florence when Count Camillo Negroni contemplated ordering an Americano cocktail but decided it was time for a change. He requested it with a touch of gin instead of soda, inspired by his last trip to London and its prevalent gin scene. The bartender was pleased to honour Count Camillo Negroni’s request and added an orange garnish rather than the lemon wedge of the Americano, to signify the new drink he had created. In Florence, the Count’s ‘usual’ became known as Count Negroni’s Americano, or the “Americano with a touch of gin”, but regardless of how it was referred to back then, the Negroni was born. The Negroni is now one of the most famous contemporary classic cocktails. Anywhere you go in the world, you will find a mixologist who can make you the iconic Negroni. The original recipe – a perfectly balanced combination of equal parts of Campari, sweet red Vermouth, and London Dry gin – is more than a century old and continues to be enjoyed today. According to Drinks International Cocktail report 2026, Negroni is the #1 best-selling classic cocktail in the world’s best bars. The International Bartenders Association (IBA) lists Campari as an official ingredient of the Negroni, and thus, there is no Negroni without Campari!
